THE RACING GENE
IT’S IN OUR BLOOD
In 1954 Honda declared entry into Isle of Man TT racing.
She shared with the world her strong will to compete on the world stage.
The passion is still strong, as racing has become part of Honda’s DNA.

Message from Koji Watanabe, President of the CDH
Since its beginnings, Honda has been a company that has grown alongside its racing activities, developing its associates and technologies through motorsport. Racing is Honda’s DNA, and I believe contributing to motorsport is Honda Racing’s mission.
As we face major environmental changes and the transition to a carbon neutral society, Honda has thought about the optimal approach to ensure that motorsport continues to be Honda’s strength in the future. The answer is to merge the four-wheel racing division with HRC, formerly a two-wheel racing company.
By combining the technologies and know-how acquired by the two- and four-wheel racing divisions, better racing machines can be built and higher quality racing management becomes possible, bringing more dreams and excitement to the motorsport fans around the world. At the same time, the HRC will broaden its horizons to train the next generation of bikers and pilots and enrich the motorsports activities in which fans can participate.
On top of that, HRC will work hand-in-hand with Honda to ensure the technologies and know-how gained through racing find their way into our consumer products and services.
Participate in races around the world
Since its Isle of Man TT declaration in 1954, Honda has competed in a wide range of two-wheel racing. A decade after the declaration, Honda entered its first Formula 1 grand prix, in 1964. The following year, Honda won its first Formula 1 race at the final round and has since won countless prestigious titles in two and four wheels. races.
Honda Racing is a company made up of motorsport specialists, all passionate about racing. Through its racing activities around the world, the know-how is acquired to develop better racing machines, which are then passed on to Honda. Pursuing the Possibilities of Motorsport and Sharing the Thrill with the World: Keeping the flame of Honda’s challenging spirit burning through the generations is, we believe, HRC’s mission.
Bringing the Joy of Racing to All
Sharing the thrill of motorsport with more and more people is one of Honda Racing’s important roles. To provide customers with commercial racing machines, developed with the know-how gained from racing around the world, at a reasonable price. HRC has strong support from many amateur rider customers. HRC is also involved in grassroots activities such as supporting semi-factory satellite teams, organizing and supporting programs to train future drivers and top drivers, and organizing one-design races, in order to contribute to the healthy development of motorsport in general. .
HRC has 30 service centers in Japan, offering a wide range of products and services specifically for racing users, such as racing machines and kit components, machine setup information, and service support. repair. Track service is also available for on-site machine setup advice at the race track. HRC supports a wide range of customer racing activities (available for two-wheeled machines on April 1, 2022).)
In addition, HRC organizes seminars for motorcyclists teaching the correct riding techniques to race safely.
