Isle of Man TT races return. After a two-year hiatus due to the global pandemic, 2022 is expected to be a full return to training in the land of real road racing.
Organizers have announced a provisional racing schedule, unchanged from 2020, so you can enjoy up to four days of racing and a total of eight races. Qualifying Week sees the innovative introduction of the afternoon qualifying sessions on Sunday May 29 and Friday June 3. Otherwise, the practice period remains virtually unchanged, with sessions taking place in the evening.
Due to the cancellation of TT 2020 and TT 2021, a large number of fans with vacations booked in those years have moved their tours to 2022, which means that many hotels, campsites and other accommodation providers are already close to capacity.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet published reservations for the 2022 crossings in February and shows availability on crossings throughout TT’s two-week period.
Flights are expected to go on sale soon from regional airports in the UK and Ireland. EasyJet and Aer Lingus offer daily flights from London and Dublin, respectively.
