Prince William’s passion which “scares the queen” and how it allows him to be anonymous

Who would dream of upsetting the queen?

Well, Prince William, apparently, as an exhilarating hobby, “would scare his life.”

The Queen is reportedly concerned about Prince William’s love for motorcycles, which she reportedly shared with royal photographer James Whitaker.

The Duke of Cambridge isn’t one to shy away from talking about his passion for motorcycles, but according to Whitaker, it “scares the life” of the Queen.

Appearing in the 2005 documentary Chasing the Royals, Whitaker said: “I think it scares the lives of people at Buckingham Palace and almost certainly the Queen too. It’s a strange thing.

Prince William first obtained his motorcycle license at the age of 19 and owned a range of motorcycles, including a 1199cc Ducati.

Prince William is a big fan of motorcycles

The Prince said The Express in 2011: “I don’t know what it is with bikes, but I’ve always had a passion for motorcycles since I was little.

“I did a lot of karting when I was younger, then after that I switched to quads and finally to motorcycles.

“It helps me to be anonymous with my motorcycle helmet because it allows me to relax. But I appreciate everything about motorcycles and the camaraderie that comes with it.”

It is not only his grandmother who is afraid, it is also his wife Catherine, who says she is “terrified”.

Speaking in 2015, the Duchess of Cambridge said: “I am terrified. I hope I will keep George away.

However, Prince William is said to have toned down his hobby for the sake of his family.

At the Isle of Man TT Race in 2018, Prince William said: “I am the father of three children, I have to moderate it. I miss big trips, for me riding a bike has always been about being with everyone. “
