While the Isle of Man TT 2021 has been canceled due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic (as was the case in 2020), the IOMTT 2022 is alive and well and is on the racing calendar of the next year, according to the organizers. To that end, they have now officially announced the dates and timing of the 2022 event to keep everyone excited about its return.
From May 29 to June 11, 2022, the beautiful Isle of Man is currently planning to host the Isle of Man TT 2022. Qualifying is scheduled to take place between Sunday May 29 and Friday June 3. The races will start early in the morning of Saturday June 4th and all races will end on Friday June 10th.
As with all future plans, these are of course subject to change by the time of the event. Event tickets, as well as accommodation and transportation reservations, are now on sale through Motorsport Tickets.
The provisional IOMTT 2022 race calendar has also been published. On Saturday June 4, the Superbike TT race and the Sidecar TT 1 race will kick off with a bang. Monday June 6 will host the Supersport TT 1 race, as well as the Superstock TT race. Wednesday June 8 will see the Lightweight TT race and Supersport TT 2 race, and Friday June 10 will see the Sidecar TT 2 race and the Senior TT race complete the 2022 event for the year.
