Wed 27 April 2022

The Department of Infrastructure said work around the roads that turn into the TT course and the Billown Circuit is continuing.

Highway work involves repairing roads, painting lines and replacing signage.

Most of the purely race-related preparations are undertaken by contractors on behalf of the Department.

He said: “Following a tendering process, the Department has appointed Island Drainage & Groundwork Ltd to undertake a number of tasks including black and white curb painting, delivery of barriers , signs and cones, and the installation of TT-specific speed limits.

The painting of the sidewalks in black and white has already begun.”

Painting of the curbs out of Ramsey and the Mountain section to Hillberry is complete.
