The Count Basie Center for the Arts has announced an upcoming performance series this fall titled “Broadway at the Basie.”
The series will debut with âRain-A Tribute to the Beatlesâ on October 24; tickets for this show are on sale now. After this show will be “Beautiful: the Carole King Musical” from November 16 to 18.
Once the schedule moves to 2022, âStompâ will be presented; this show takes place on january 9th. “Rent: the 25th Anniversary Farewell Tour” will take place on January 19th and 20th. “Fiddler on the Roof” will end the “Broadway at the Basie” series on June 15-16.

The Basie, like other entertainment venues, halted all productions in March 2020 due to the pandemic. They launched their âBack to the Basieâ campaign in May and have already resumed their âConcert on the Greenâ performances; the shows at Vogel, the Basie’s performance center, have also resumed.
According to the centre’s website, âThe Count Basie Center for the Arts aims to be the premier performing and visual arts center, inspiring, educational and entertaining through its diverse and engaging offerings and reflecting the diversity of the region. “.
