BMW France Launches Ultra-Limited Edition S 1000 RR Isle Of Man

In September 2020, the new BMW M 1000 RR dethroned the S 1000 RR as the flagship Bavarian superbike. Just six months later, in March 2021, Isle of Man organizers canceled TT 2021 due to ongoing pandemic concerns. Despite the recent demotion of the S 1000 RR and the second consecutive cancellation of the Isle of Man TT, BMW France pays homage to both with the limited edition S 1000 RR Isle of Man.

The introduction of the new M 1000 RR finally integrates the brand’s motorcycles into its famous M performance vehicles. For this reason, BMW France turned to the 2021 BMW M3 to inspire its special edition S 1000 RR. Featuring House of Munich’s unique Isle of Man Green paintwork, the limited livery already sets the superbike apart.

Of course, the inscription “S 1000 RR Isle of Man Edition” on the gas tank and the engraved model number only amplify the exclusive status of the model. To accentuate the green color, the S 1000 RR also gains a tinted windshield and yellow tinted LED lighting. For a special touch, BMW France dresses the motorcycle’s M forged wheels in the same copper finish as that found on the motorcycle’s crankcases.

Along with cosmetics, the S 1000 RR receives dynamic damping control, heated grips and cruise control from the brand’s Dynamic Pack and M endurance chain, M GPS LapTrigger and its Sport Pack’s USB port. . However, the Race Pack’s lightweight M battery, M swingarm, M forged rims, Pro ride modes and M stroke tuning enhance the performance of the S 1000 RR the most. Finally, an Akrapovic M-line titanium exhaust and carbon fiber end caps increase the superbike’s track skills.

At € 33,005 ($ 39,311), the S 1000 RR Isle of Man Edition rivals the MSRP of € 33,270 ($ 39,627) of the M 1000 RR. Yes, that’s € 13,805 ($ 16,442) more than the price of the standard S 1000 RR, but with only 50 units available and M performance components included, BMW France is a good argument for Beemer fans. to ride the special edition in their garage.
