Better reactions because PM wants to build a roundabout under the Isle of Man

No matter Boris Island, the Garden Bridge or even the Bridge between Scotland and Northern Ireland, the Prime Minister has taken his ‘vision’ to the next level.

He now plans to build a massive roundabout under the Isle of Man that would connect Scotland, England and Northern Ireland, according to The Sunday Times.

Plans which “exist primarily in the mind of the Prime Minister” would see three tunnels dug, from Lancashire, Liverpool and Stranraer, to come together under the Isle of Man.

One aide dismissed the idea as a “bat ploy”. The planned meeting point would be called the “Douglas Junction”.

The idea would exist “mainly in the mind of the Prime Minister”, according to a senior assistant.

Several high-profile sources from Whitehall have reportedly dismissed the roundabout plan as ‘around the bend’, but Boris Johnson loved it so much he ‘can’t die’.

But the tunnel is expected to cross the Beaufort Dyke – a 32-mile trench where around 1.5 million tonnes of World War II ammunition was dumped.

As you can imagine, this news left a lot of people in awe.
