Apparent drowning reported in Dakota County


Burnsville, MN (KROC-AM News) – The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office reports an apparent drowning.

Officials say MPs responded to a report of a possible drowning in Burnsville late Saturday afternoon. A witness reported that a man jumped from a boat in Crystal Lake to help another person and did not resurface.

The Dakota County Dive Team responded to the site and WCCO-TV reports the man’s body was recovered from the lake around 11:30 a.m. last night. His name has not been released.
